Idara is a graduate of the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, and an award-winning primary school teacher with Corona Schools Trust Council where she educates students in Literacy and Social Studies.
She is passionate about improving the teaching experience for students and impacting other teachers by training them in the 21st century teaching methodologies. Her numerous awards include Corona Primary Schools Model Teacher and Teacher of the Year Corona School Lekki.
In the last two years, Idara has used her online platforms to enlighten teachers about how much they can be within and outside the classroom. She is known as a teacher of teachers, a trainer, and a teacherpreneur. She is at the forefront of a revolution for teachers to become outstanding individuals beyond the walls of a school building, and for teachers to startup businesses while doing their regular jobs.
Idara is an ambassador of S.A.F.E. (Securing a Friendly and Protective Environment for Children) by the Taiwo Akinlami Academy, a Member of Technology Integration Work Group where she works with others to bring teachers up to speed with the teaching operational technological needs. She is also the Blended Learning coordinator for her school through the partnership of the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA).
Idara has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Nottingham, UK and a B.Sc. in Mass Communication from Covenant University, Ogun State. She has been interviewed on various radio stations like Eko FM and Nigeria Info FM. Idara enjoys talking and blogging, and she blogs at www.teacheridara.blogspot.com.ng
